Throughout the virus pandemic wheelchair cars Ltd has been taking deposits to reserve wheelchair-accessible cars, and some vehicles have been delivered safely at the customer’s request.
We agree the virus is still out there and we must remain very careful and alert, we will do everything possible to protect you.
This is the procedure we are working with at the moment;
If you see a vehicle on our website you like, you can secure the said wheelchair car on approval,
The secured vehicle can be delivered safely whenever you want;
Once the vehicle is prepared for sale;
We will arrange a time and day to deliver the wav on approval,
The vehicle will be fully sanitized before being loaded onto our truck.
We are only using one driver in the truck (Peter).
The truck / Peter will not stop at a fuel station or services etc.
On arrival at your home, Peter will put on a mask and latex gloves before removing the vehicle from the truck.
The wav will then be shown to you at a safe distance,
The vehicle will have trade plates on and you can have a test drive on your own. details for unaccompanied test drives. (sorry we are unable to do unaccompanied test drives again at the moment)
You can try the wheelchair in the car and we will talk you through the correct safe way to load a wheelchair from 2 meters away. (the best way to learn is do it).
When you are fully happy with the car and the loading of a wheelchair we can do the paperwork.
The paperwork can be completed outside, peter will NOT come into your house 100% guarantee.
We were the first wav company to start sanitizing vehicles due to covid, other small-minded dealers started to copy our ideas, (hello m-nationwide reading this one as well).
